2011 PROGRAM OF EVENTS
The land was a part of a Revolutionary war soldier's compensation tract surveyed in 1792 and settled in 1817 by David Collin III. Collin's descendents sold the land to the state in 1928. The park opened in 1930. It features two rare meromictic glacial lakes - surface waters do not mix with bottom waters. Round Lake is 180 feet deep, Green Lake 195 feet. Our venue, the original administration building, was a 1930's WPA project designed by architect Laurie B. Cox and constructed of native stone and heavy timber. nysparks.state.ny.us/parks/172/details.aspxFeatured Speaker --- The luncheon will be provided by: Please click here for more information and a reservation form and mail to: Dalton's Antiques, 1931 James St., Syracuse, NY 13206 For more information call Dave Rudd at 315 463-1568 Make checks payable to ACSCNY MEMBERS $25/ GUESTS $35
